I never stated that people spend money due to bots. Is it a valid strategy to reak in money from botters rather than banning them right away? Yes, and you agree, for sure.

Demon buddy is not the only working bot, i know of at least 3 separate working botting software. Its simply a matter of too many bots and too little time. Therefore the bans aren't being doled out so fastidiously. It simply isn't that feasible to identify and ban people that quickly. Because in all honesty you can continue believing your rhetoric about blizzard holding off banning in order to increase profits. I sincerely hope you had time to read all that. You have assumed nefarious practices by a company whose game you play and enjoy for no reason other than your own insecurity or frustration with the game. ERGO if the botters were aggressively pursued and 100% of them are banned ( which i've told you is almost impossible ) you still have the same amount of RL money coming through the system regardless as the market shifts and gold prices deflate or inflate based on how much is available in the open market. Cause the people buying gold still buy gold on rmah regardless of return unless its a very low return, But this return can be guaranteed because if there are no botters there would be less inflation meaning gold would be worth more. The fact is this may be true to and extent but not to the extent that it would ensure as significant as return as you seem to be blatantly pointing towards.Įssentially this means even if you remove botters you're still going to have the same amount of money coming through regardless. therefore there wont be as much money expenditure without the existence of bots. However your point is utterly moot because you're assuming that people spend money due to bots. Now i repeat i replied to your comment citing the fact that without further info on blizzard profits we cannot determine whether this is a valid strategy for them to allow botters to continue by being lax in identifying and defeating botting systems. In the meantime you can consider that every botter is a INFINITE income generator compared to player accounts which in average probably spend very little money on RMAH. But on the flip side neither can you as YOU DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT INFORMATION TO MAKE THAT ASSUMPTION EITHER. I dont have access to blizzard financial information to tell you that its a small fraction of the profits or whatever. Unfortunately you can continue to believe what you do. As far as actual profit from blizzard i cannot disprove that.
